"Oh, How I Love My Mommy"

BJ got me the most wonderful card for Mother's Day! (Okay, Brian picked it out...but it is PERFECT!). I love the card so much that I just had to share it with you...

There's no one like my mommy
for bringing happy smiles...
For stopping what she's doing
to rock me for a while.

There's no one like my mommy
for singing lullabies...
For hurrying to hold me
when she hears my little cries.

There's no one like my mommy
for taking me on walks...
And for being a good listener
in our "mommy-baby talks"!

There's no one like my mommy
to hug and snuggle me!
And though I'm small,
my love for her is as big as it can be!

And there was original BJ artwork on the inside of the card. Just Perfect!

BJ found his feet!

I was changing BJ yesterday and for the first time ever he grabbed his feet! I didn't have the camera on hand at that moment but later in the evening he showed off for daddy.


BJ had also found his tongue. Since birth BJ has stuck his tongue in and out. But now he discovered that you can GRAB the tongue!


Oh...and BJ is mobile. I put him in his crib lengthwise for a nap. And this is how we found him...

Two Thumbs Up!

BJ loves his thumb. I love that BJ loves his thumb. It has become his soother for his naps and hopefully (fingers crossed) it will become his soother in the middle of the night. He has stopped taking the pacifier and I can't be a pacifier for him so I'm SO thankful that he found his thumbs.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Happy 31st birthday Brian! It's been quite the amazing year...this time last year we were pregnant but didn't know it yet:) What a difference a year makes. You are the most wonderful husband and father we could ever ask for. We love you!!

Easter

We went up to my parent's house in NJ for Easter. It was BJ's first long car trip. The 3-hour trip took us 6 hours. We didn't hit much traffic but we did stop every 45 minutes-1 hour to stretch BJ's legs. He didn't cry the entire trip up, which I thought was wonderful!
